tldr
Each subculture (quant, entrepreneurship, SWEs, researchers, makers, hackers) is a plane of legibility - recognizing this and trying to see yourself from the outside can help you make better decisions
two cents
Try lots of things, hold onto arguments you disagree with, 'beware of old people with money who want to use you as a missile', remember everything is a plane (of legibility).
